Briggses celebrating 50th wedding anniversary
Bill and Linda Briggs of Fairfield will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a trip to the Canada Maritime with the Heritage Club.
The couple were married Sept. 7, 1963, in Keosauqua.
Brigges have three children, Billie Cornell and husband Richard of Woodstock Ill., Amy Greene and husband Jack of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Tod Briggs of Kansas City, Kan. They also have six grandchildren.

Bill and Linda Briggs of Fairfield will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a trip to the Canada Maritime with the Heritage Club.

Bill Briggs worked with his father in the plumbing business and then worked in maintenance for the Fairfield Community School District for 30 years. Linda Briggs worked for Fairfield Water Works for more than 30 years.
