Brighton Community Church children donate to St. Jude
Children from the Brighton Community Church made gifts to share with the children of St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital in Memphis. Deacon Bird (holding the box) spearheaded the making of 80 folded paper footballs and 100 paper finger puppets with smiley faces. Sunday school teacher Marcella Loeffler guided the children in also making doorknob hangers and even the youngest contributed colored pictures.
Pastor Rick Zickefoose led the children and the entire church family in offering special prayers for the children who will receive these gifts.
