Brighton Community Church to hold program on racial healing

Brighton Community Church (101 S. Mechanic St.) is hosting a 'Racial Healing Christian Forum” on Sunday, July 19, from 2:30-3:30 p.m.

According to a news release, 'This will be an opportunity to learn about the reality of continuing racial inequity within America, to request and/or grant forgiveness for unresolved racial wounds within our churches and our country, and to be part of a Christian racial-problem-solving discussion centered around our common faith.”

'Come interact with our guest speaker who has experienced racial discrimination yet shares a message of unity and equality in Christ Jesus. And celebrate our common salvation and eternal way of life to come!” the release stated.

This event is open to the public.
