Brighton hosts Celebrate Recovery

Around twenty-five people from Brighton, Wayland, Olds, Washington and Fairfield (including one newcomer) attended a Celebrate Recovery meeting March 5 at the Brighton Church of God. The evening included dinner; optional small group sharing; and a testimony from a family, parents and two children, who have all benefited from Celebrate Recovery. When married, the parents brought baggage from their families of origin, including drugs, alcohol and food issues, control issues, codependency and depression. The children shared success over struggles with anger control and people pleasing.

The next weekly Celebrate Recovery/Celebration Place meeting, open to anyone with any hurt, habit, or hangup and their children ages 5-13, will be Thursday, March 12 at the Brighton Church of God. It will begin at 6 PM with a free meal. Free childcare is available for children under 5.
