Twenty-one friends and relatives celebrated Easter at the home of Caryl Smith. They arrived from Burlington, Brighton, Fairfield, Keosauqua, Washington and Iowa City. Also present was her cousin from Chicago, Ill., who visited from April 4-6.

Twenty-one friends and relatives celebrated Easter at the home of Caryl Smith. They arrived from Burlington, Brighton, Fairfield, Keosauqua, Washington and Iowa City. Also present was her cousin from Chicago, Ill., who visited from April 4-6.
Ginny Brinton spent Easter weekend with her brother, Fritz and Nancy Gowey, in Milan, Ill.
Volunteers are wanted for planting and working the community garden. Individual lots are available. The first session was scheduled for 4 p.m., April 15, at the garden.
Tim and Rita Berry with Isaac and Megan of Bates City, Mo., arrived at the home of her mother, Winifred Fritz. Winifred?s daughter Lucy Dietzman with Branden of Keosauqua arrived on April 4. Joining everyone for Easter dinner at Winifred?s home were Lucy?s husband, Matt, with Malcolm, who had been turkey hunting on Saturday; and Winifred?s children Charles and Debi Fritz with Nathan, Andrew and Jess of Sigourney; Greg and Deb Fritz with her mother, Barb Rominger, of Fairfield; Jane and Virgil Symmonds with friend Jennifer Kachler of Fairfield; Mary and Joel Boatright with Bridget Hollingsworth of Fairfield and Jeremy Hollingsworth of Packwood; Tony Fritz of Brighton; and Joe and Lori Fritz with Michael, Julia and Sophia of Brighton. Also present were Greg and Deb Fritz? daughters, Sarah and Craig Sides with Brandley and Holden of Lenexa, Kan., and Trisha and Justin Copeland with Kellen and Madden of Fairfield; and Jane and Virgil Symmonds? children, Nolan and Kelli with Cameron of Kalona, and Rachael and Nathan Germany with Coraline and Oliver of Nevada, Iowa.
The Krony Krew Club met on April 8 at the home of Phyllis Scheeler. Bridge was played at one table. Winners were Phyllis Scheeler, Kathryn Dickinson and Shirley Schooley. Their next meeting will be held April 23 at the home of Louise Frakes.
Chapter AQ of P.E.O. met April 7 at the home of Lynn Wright. Fifteen members were present. The program was a skit about the state convention. Their next meeting will be held on April 21 at the home of Sarah Robinson.
