Mary and Joel Boatright of Fairfield with Bridget Hollingsworth of Fairfield and J.D. and Becky Hollingsworth of Packwood visited her mother, Winifred Fritz, on April 2. They provided the evening meal.

Winifred Fritz received word of the death of her cousin, Ruby Sibers of West Point.

Rita Berry of Bates City, Missouri, surprised her mother, Winifred Fritz, by arriving April 3 to spend some time in Brighton. They were joined that evening by Rita?s brothers, Tony and Lynn Fritz, and Joe Fritz.

Angela Garmoe with James and Christopher of Mount Pleasant met her mother, Pat Remington, at Arby?s in Mount Pleasant on March 30. The boys came to Brighton to spend the night with their grandma. Kathy Babberl of Chariton with friend Wayne met her sister, Pat, and great-nephews in Ottumwa on April 1. They enjoyed dining and shopping while in Ottumwa. That evening Pat took the boys to Fairfield to meet their parents, Angela and Tony Garmoe.

Chapter AQ, P.E.O., met April 4 at the home of Joyce Dunbar. Fifteen members were present. Joyce Dunbar gave the program, ?The Sound of Music.? Their next meting will be held April 18 at the home of Rose Jaynes.

Letty Pickering of San Tan Valley, Arizona, with children, Hagen, Faith and Connor, arrived to visit with her mother, Lonna Blodgett, on March 17 for a week. During the visit a 3rd birthday party was held for Conner and Faith, with many family members attending. Letty and children spent one night with her sister, Emily, with Julian and Ellie, in Mount Pleasant. Letty and children made it safely back to Arizona after a two-day drive.

Pat Remington accompanied Gerald and Rosemary Pacha to Altoona on April 5. They attended a Terry Smith performance.
