Pat Remington of Brighton met her daughter Brandy Poli of Waukee in Oskaloosa on Oct. 21. They enjoyed shopping and dined at Taso's Pizza and Steakhouse.

Pat and friend Nita of Rubio met Pat's sister Kathy and friend Wayne of Chariton on Oct. 16. They dined at Culver's in Ottumwa.

On Oct. 21, Winifred Fritz had phone calls from her daughter Rita Berry of Bates City, Missouri. Tim Berry, Rita's husband, also called her on his way home from work. Winifred received 117 cards total for her birthday.

Mary and Joel Boatright of Fairfield visited Mary's mother Winifred on Oct. 18. They were joined by Mary's children: Bridget Hollingsworth of Fairfield, and J.D. and Becky Hollingsworth with Noah of Packwood.

On Oct. 22, Winifred Fritz made a pizza lunch for her son and son-in-law, Greg Fritz and Joel Boatright both of Fairfield. They enjoyed playing cards.
