Enjoying the evening meal of Aug. 21 at the home of Winifred Fritz were her sons, Tony and Lynn Fritz of Brighton, and Greg and Deb Fritz with grandson Kellen of Fairfield. Also present were her grandson, J.D. and Becky Hollingsworth of Packwood.

Pat Remington with her daughter and family, Angela and Tony Garmoe with James and Christopher of Mount Pleasant, and Cody and fiancée Mackenzie of Oskaloosa, enjoyed the Iowa State Fair on Aug. 20. Christopher stayed the night at his Grandma Pat?s. On Aug. 21, Pat and Christopher met Angela, Tony, and James at Pizza Ranch in Mount Pleasant.

Pat met her daughter Brandy Poli of Waukee in Oskaloosa on Aug. 23. They met Cody and Mackenzie at Tasos? Steak House.

The Krony Krew Club met Aug. 24 at the home of Dorothy Miller. Bridge was played at two tables. Their next meeting will be held Sept. 14 at the home of Shirley Schooley.

Jason Owen and Rachel Boley were married on July 30 in Greenwood, Missouri. Special guests included her parents, Ed and Darlene Owen, and her sister, Cary and Dawn Brown and family, all of Brighton.
