Lucy Dietzman of Keosauqua visited her mother, Winifred Fritz, the morning of Sept. 4. Winifred was visited that evening by her children, Mary and Joel Boatright with Bridget Hollingsworth of Fairfield, and Tony Fritz of Brighton.
Enjoying the evening meal of Sept. 5 at Winifred?s home were her sons, Tony and Lynn of Brighton with her daughter Elisha of Coralville, and Joe and Lori Fritz with Sophia of Brighton. Mary Boatright and Bridget returned Sept. 6. They dug potatoes from the garden and stayed for the evening meal.
Shirley Schooley was visited by cousins David and Deb Speidel of Benton, Missouri, on Sept. 1. They toured Lake Darling and enjoyed seeing the four-season cabins. They met other cousins and enjoyed dining at Sassy?s Café in Wayland.
Chapter AQ, P.E.O., met Sept. 6 at Costas Restaurant in Mount Pleasant. Sixteen members enjoyed this social meeting. Their next meeting will be held Sept. 20 at the home of Karen Schafer in Brighton.
Pat Remington was visited by her daughter, Angela Garmoe of Mount Pleasant, on Sept. 1. Pat?s grandson Cody with fiancée Mackenzie of Oskaloosa visited Sept. 2-5. On Sept. 3, they went to Mount Pleasant to pick up his brothers, James and Christopher. They enjoyed dining in Burlington before returning to Mount Pleasant.
