Winifred Fritz was visited on the afternoon of March 5 by her granddaughters, Julia and Sophia Fritz of Brighton, with their friend Delaniey Breen of Fairfield.
On March 6, Winifred was visited by her daughter Mary and Joel Boatright of Fairfield with J.D. Hollingsworth of Packwood.
Francis and Kathleen Spiesz of Farmington and Winifred Fritz visited their sister Rose Wickenkamp at the hospital in Sigourney on March 7.
Pat Remington, with her sisters, Kim of Clive and Kathy of Chariton, attended the Eagle Scout pinning ceremony and reception for their nephew, Jonathan Nation of Des Moines. It was held March 5 in Des Moines.
Travis Remington of Tennessee visited friends and relatives in Iowa from Feb. 26 through March 3. Travis, with his mother, Pat, of Brighton, met Pat?s grandson Cody with friend McKenzie of Oskaloosa, for the evening meal on Feb. 29 in Oskaloosa.
Toddlers through 12-year-olds can participate in the Brighton Chamber of Commerce-sponsored Easter Egg hunt. It will be held at 3 p.m., March 26 at the Brighton Ball Park.
The Krony Krew Bridge Club met March 9 at the home of Kathryn Dickinson. Their next meeting will be March 23 at the home of Ginny Brinton.
