Ten-point pitch will be played again this year in the Brighton Community building beginning Jan. 14. Players will start at 7 p.m. and play until 10 games have been played. Everyone is welcome to attend. The games will be played every Tuesday.

Rita Berry with Megan and friend Melissa of Bates City, Mo., arrived at the home of her mother Winifred Fritz on Dec. 21.
Tim Berry with Isaac arrived on Dec. 24.
They attended Mass on Christmas Eve.
Christmas Eve at Winifred's included 44 relatives at her home for a soup supper and gift exchange.
The Berry family with Melissa and Winifred enjoyed a pizza dinner on Christmas Day. It was held at the home of Winifred's son Tony Fritz of Brighton. Also present was Tony's friend Lynn of North Liberty with Alicia of Iowa City.
Approximately 60 people attended the Christmas program at Brighton's First Church of God on Dec. 22.
Sixteen friends and relatives gathered at the home of Caryl Smith in Brighton for Christmas dinner. They arrived from Iowa City, Burlington, Fairfield, Brighton and Cantril.
Danny and Cindy Guy and Deb and Dean Greiner spent Christmas Day at their mother's, Donna Guy, all of Brighton. Also present were their children Adam Guy and Andy Guy of Brighton, Angie Greiner of Iowa City, and Matt Greiner with Clayton of Fairfield.
Tedra Schadt of Las Vegas arrived in Iowa on Dec. 22. She plans to stay until Jan. 5, with her mother Ruth Schadt of Brighton. She plans to visit friends and relatives and enjoy the holidays with her mother.
Pat Remington hosted a dinner in her home on Dec. 21. Those present included her children: Angela and Tony Garmoe, Cody, James and Christopher of Mount Pleasant; Travis Remington of Ainsworth and Brandy and Chris Poli of Waukee. Also present was Pat's mother Dorothy Babberl of Windsor Heights.
