J.D. Hollingsworth of Packwood enjoyed the evening meal at the home of his grandmother, Winifred Fritz, on Feb. 9. They were joined by his sister, Bridget Hollingsworth, of Fairfield.
A fish fry was held at the home of Winifred Fritz on Feb. 12. Her son Greg of Fairfield did the frying, and other family members provided side dishes. Others present included Jane and Virgil Symmonds, Mary and Joe Boatright with Bridget Hollingsworth of Fairfield, and J.D. Hollingsworth of Packwood.
Pat Remington met her sister Kathy of Chariton, with friend Wayne. on Feb. 11 in Ottumwa. They enjoyed dining and shopping.
Michael Fritz, son of Joe and Lori, was a state wrestling qualifier. He represented Fairfield High School. On Feb. 16, he lost his first match but injured his shoulder. He won the second match.
