Winifred Fritz was visited by her grandson, J.D. Hollingsworth of Packwood, on Nov. 1. Mary and Joel Boatright of Fairfield joined her mother and her son, providing the evening meal. Tony and Lynn Fritz of Brighton also enjoyed the evening meal at his mother?s home.
Jason Roberts attended a surprise birthday party for a friend on Oct. 30. Tammy Hesseltine was surprised by approximately 20 guests from communities around Washington. They gathered at Pizza Ranch in Washington. The party was arranged by Tammy?s husband, Josh. Tammy?s birthday was Oct. 28, so the party was a complete surprise.
Brighton Chapter AQ, P.E.O., met at the home of Lou Leeper in Washington on Nov. 3. Seventeen members answered roll call. During the regular meeting, the initiation of a new member was held.
Following the meeting, refreshments were served by Lou and co-hostess Kate Pacha.
The next meeting will be at 7 p.m., Nov. 17, at the home of Jan Eddy in Brighton. Ruth Ann Stacy will be co-hostess and will present the program.
