Pat Remington met her sister Kathy and friend of Chariton on Nov. 4 in Ottumwa. They enjoyed shopping and dining.
Providing the evening meal of Nov. 6 at the home of Winifred Fritz were her children, Joel and Mary Boatright of Fairfield with J.D. and Becky Hollingsworth of Packwood, and Greg and Deb Fritz of Fairfield.
The Mary Circle of Brighton United Church met on Nov. 8 at the home of Mary Lu Paul in Brighton. Seven members and one guest, Jean Bates of Washington, were present. Shirley Schooley led devotions. Jean Bates presented the program on her mission trip to Kentucky. Carolyn Christner provided the lesson on Priscilla, from the book of Acts. Their next meeting will be at noon, Dec. 13 at the home of Karen Schafer. This will be a Christmas potluck luncheon.
The Krony Krew Bridge Club met Nov. 9 at the home of Kathryn Dickinson. Ginny Brinton will host the Dec. 7 meeting at her home.
