A Christmas and New Year?s celebration was held at the home of Winifred Fritz on Jan. 1. Those present included her children, Tony Fritz of Brighton, and Lucy Dietzman with Branden and Malcolm of Keosauqua. They were joined by Winifred?s brother, Herb and Sandy Moeller of Wever with their daughter Maureen and Tim Lewis of Cedar Rapids. Also present were their sister, Kathleen and Francis Spiesz of Farmington with sons, Dean and Jean Spiesz, and Michael Spiesz with Erin, all of Mount Pleasant.
Jennifer and Brian Phillips and their children, Aurora and Ames of Johnston, spent Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with her parents, Gerald and Rosemary Pacha. Jean Frazer of Iowa City was also a guest. Between Christmas and New Year?s, the Pachas traveled to Wichita, Kan. They celebrated a late Christmas with their son Jeff and Michelle Pacha and their four grandsons. While on their way to Wichita they stopped in Ottawa, Kan., to see their grandson Jay, who is attending college there. They had dinner with him before heading on to Wichita.
