Pat Remington met her sister Kathy of Chariton, with friend, in Ottumwa on Sept. 22. That evening, Pat met her daughter, Angela Garmoe with Christopher of Mount Pleasant, at Tasos Steakhouse in Mount Pleasant. They met Angela?s son Jimmy afterward and took him to Subway.

Walkers Welcome ? participate in the Iowa Healthy Walk on Oct. 5. Walkers will meet at the Lake Darling shelter house at noon. A 30-minute walk is planned to start then.

Winifred Fritz recently helped with the St. Joseph-Cabrini Church Bazaar. She came home and found that her granddaughter Bridget Hollingsworth of Fairfield had prepared a lasagna meal for that evening. They were joined by Winifred?s son Tony and Lynn Fritz. A cake was served in honor of Lynn?s birthday.

The Krony Krew Bridge Club met Sept. 28 at the home of Phyllis Scheeler. Their next meeting will be held Oct. 12 at the home of Sarah Robison.
