Lucy Dietzmn of Keosauqua spent Jan. 21 at the home of her mother, Winifred Fritz. They were joined by Winifred?s granddaughter, Sophia Fritz. They spent the afternoon and evening playing games and cards.

On Jan. 22, Winifred Fritz was visited by her daughter Mary and Joel Boatright with Bridget Hollingsworth of Fairfield.

The Krony Krew Bridge Club met at the home of Rose Jaynes on Jan. 25. The group will meet at the home of Ginny Brinton on Feb. 8.

Lonna Blodgett left Jan. 8 to visit her daughter and son-in-law, Letty and Chad Pickering of San Tan Valley, Arizona. Lonna was able to spend several days with grandchildren, Hagen and twins Faith and Connor. While there, Lonna got together with Mary, John, and Jim McCarthy, previous residents of Washington, for a round of golf in Queen?s Creek. Lonna returned on Jan. 19 and is looking forward to daughter?s and family?s visit in March for the twins? 3rd birthday, in Brighton.
