James Garmoe of Mount Pleasant was honored at a graduation party on May 20. It was held at the Oakland Mills Community Church with approximately 20 people attending. It was hosted by his family, Tony and Angela Garmoe with Christopher of Mount Pleasant. Special guests included his brother, Cody and Mackenzie of Oskaloosa; and his grandparents, Pat Remington of Brighton, and Mike and Deb Garmoe of Missouri.

Other guests arrived from Waukee, Cedar Rapids, Toddville, Chariton and Mount Pleasant. That evening, James, Cody, Christopher, Angela, Mackenzie and Pat dined at the Jumbo Buffet in Mount Pleasant. Mike and Deb Garmoe, Pat Remington, and Tony and Angela Garmoe with Christopher attended the graduation on May 21.

Gerald and Rosemary Pacha were in Wichita, Kansas, on the weekend of May 20. On May 20 they attended their grandson Kyle Pacha?s high school graduation.

Providing the evening meal of May 21 at the home of Winifred Fritz were her children, Tony and Lynn Fritz of Brighton, and Mary Boatright with Bridget Hollingsworth of Fairfield.

A congregate meal was served at St. Joseph Church in East Pleasant Plain on May 25.
