Pat Remington spent Dec.24-26 in Oskaloosa with her grandson and fiancée, Cody and Mackenzie. On Christmas Day, they met Pat?s daughter Brandy of Waukee briefly in Monroe. They enjoyed the noon meal at the home of Mackenzie?s parents and family in Oskaloosa. Cody and Mackenzie brought Pat home on Dec. 26.

Pat Remington spent Dec.24-26 in Oskaloosa with her grandson and fiancée, Cody and Mackenzie. On Christmas Day, they met Pat?s daughter Brandy of Waukee briefly in Monroe. They enjoyed the noon meal at the home of Mackenzie?s parents and family in Oskaloosa. Cody and Mackenzie brought Pat home on Dec. 26.
Ginny Brinton left Dec. 22 for Milan, Illinois. She visited her brother, Fritz and Nancy Gowey. All of their family members gathered there on Dec. 25. Ginny returned home on Dec. 26.
Winifred Fritz enjoyed the evening meal of Dec. 25 at the home of her son Tony and Lynn Fritz. Joe Fritz with Sophia and Julia visited his mother, Winifred, on Dec. 26. They spent the evening playing cards.
Murray Schooley with Felicia of Kingman, Arizona, arrived Dec. 27 to spend eight days with his mother, Shirley Schooley. They were joined for the noon meal at Shirley?s home by her sons Monte with Abbie of Iowa City, and Martin with Cole of Vernon Hills, Illinois, and Shirley?s brother Phil and Sandra Speidel of Mount Pleasant.
Nelson and Jacklyn Smith hosted a Christmas Day dinner at their home. Thirteen friends and relatives were present, including his mother, Caryl Smith.
Tim Berry with Isaac of Bates City, Missouri, joined his wife and daughter at the home of her mot her, Winifred Fritz. They arrived on Dec. 23 in time for the evening meal. The Berrys all returned home on Dec. 25 after the noon meal.
Forty-seven relatives gathered at the home of Winifred Fritz on Dec. 24. They enjoyed a soup supper, providing four different kinds of soup. All of her children were present with their families except grandchildren Sarah and Craig Sides and family of Kansas, and J.D. and Becky Hollingsworth of Packwood. J.D. and Becky were visiting her parents in Zearing.
The Krony Krew Club met Dec. 21 at the home of Shirley Schooley. Bridge was played at one table.
