Enjoying the evening meal and cards on Feb. 22 at the home of Winifred Fritz were her children, Tony Fritz of Brighton with friend Lynn of North Liberty, and Mary and Joel Boatright with Bridget Hollingsworth of Fairfield. Winifred received a phone call from grandson Isaac Berry of Springfield, Mo., and son Greg and Deb Fritz of Fairfield, who had returned home from a trip to Mexico.

A party was held on Feb. 21 for Coraline Germany?s 4th birthday. Coraline?s parents are Nathan and Rachael Germany of Nevada, Iowa. The celebration was held at the home of Rachael?s parents, Jane and Virgil Symmonds of rural Fairfield. Other guests attending were Coraline?s brother, 3-month-old Oliver; Rachael?s brother Nolan and Kelli Symmonds with Cameron of Kalona; and Jane?s mother, Winifred Fritz of Brighton. An added attraction was watching Cameron and Oliver together. Cameron is only 8 days older than Oliver.

Cody Remington, who turned 21 on Feb. 18, and Tony Garmoe, whose birthday was Feb. 26, celebrated on Feb. 23. Cody went to the Riverside Casino with his grandmother and his uncle ? Pat Remington of Brighton, and Travis of Ainsworth. They met Cody?s parents, Angela and Tony of Mount Pleasant, at the casino for dinner.

The Krony Krew Club met on Feb. 25 at the home of Ginny Brinton. Elaine Watson was a guest. Bridge was played at two tables. The winners were Liz Gegner, Elaine Watson and Louise Frakes. Their next meeting will be held on March 11 at the home of Liz Gegner.
