Sister Janet Kreber of Sioux City arrived at the home of Winifred Fritz on the evening of July 24. She was Winifred?s guest until the morning of July 27. On Saturday, July 25, Sister Janet visited friends in Washington. She enjoyed lunch in Washington with friends from Wayland. Saturday night, Winifred and Sister Janet attended the Mass at Richland. It was held in honor of Helen and Elmer ?Bud? Adam?s 67th wedding anniversary and his 90th birthday. The Mass was given by their three sons, who are priests.
Caryl Smith held a party at her home on July 25 for 20 guests. Sister Janet Kreber of Sioux City was honored for her 50-year anniversary of becoming a nun. A reception for Sister Janet was held at St. Joseph Church in Pleasant Plain after Mass on July 26.
On July 26, J.D. Hollingsworth of Packwood enjoyed the noon meal at the home of his grandmother, Winifred Fritz, and Sister Janet Kreber. Sister Janet left for Fairfield to visit friends at the care centers and hospital. Sister Janet also attended the dance at Polishville that evening.
Mary Boatright of Fairfield with J.D. Hollingsworth of Packwood provided the evening meal of July 26 at the home of her mother, Winifred Fritz. Later that evening, Joe Fritz with Michael, Julia, and a friend of Julia?s visited Winifred, his mother.
