Mike Wolfer of Missouri called Jan. 17 with the new of the death of Darlene Rubey, formerly of Brighton. Darlene was the mother of Sharon and the late Karen Rubey.
Winifred Fritz was visited by grandson Andrew of Sigourney on Jan. 14. He was returning to Central College in Pella after being home for Christmas break.

Mike Wolfer of Missouri called Jan. 17 with the new of the death of Darlene Rubey, formerly of Brighton. Darlene was the mother of Sharon and the late Karen Rubey.
Winifred Fritz was visited by grandson Andrew of Sigourney on Jan. 14. He was returning to Central College in Pella after being home for Christmas break.
On Jan. 17, Winifred was visited by grandson J.D. and Becky Hollingsworth of Packwood. They were joined by granddaughter Bridget Hollingsworth, their mother Mary and Joel Boatright of Fairfield, and Winifred?s son Tony and Lynn of Brighton. They enjoyed the evening meal of food they had all provided.
Shirley Schooley left Dec. 20 to visit her son Murray and granddaughter Felisha in Kingman, Arizona. Joining them for Christmas were Shirley?s sons Mike and Cindi Schooley of Columbia, Missouri, with Grant of Louisville, Kentucky, Monte Schooley and family of Iowa City, and Marty and Mary Schooley and family of Vernon Hills, Illinois. Shirley returned home on Jan. 17.
