Pat Remington spent Dec. 30 in Missouri with friends.
On Dec. 31, Nolan Symmonds of Kalona visited his grandmother, Winifred Fritz. He?d brought photographs of his sons, Cameron and Grayson.
Providing the evening meal of Jan. 1 at the home of Winifred Fritz were her children and grandchildren. Those present included Joel and Mary Boatright of Fairfield, Tony and Lynn Fritz of Brighton, and Mary?s children, J.D. and Becky Hollingsworth of Packwood and Bridget Hollingsworth of Fairfield.
Card-players are welcome to come to the Brighton Community Center on Tuesday nights. Ten-point pitch will be played starting at 6 p.m. Participants will play 10 games for $1. Refreshments are provided by the players.
