Winifred (Moeller) Fritz of Brighton, with Rita Berry of Missouri, attended the Moeller reunion. It was held July 19 at the shelter house in Houghton. Winifred (Moeller) Fritz of Brighton, with Rita Berry of Missouri, attended the Moeller reunion. It was held July 19 at the shelter house in Houghton. Cousins arrived from Dubuque, Wever, Des Moines, Salem, Richland, Mount Pleasant, Cedar Rapids, Farmington, Keosauqua, Fort Madison, West Point, Burlington, and Brighton, and from Missouri and California. Rita returned home, while Winifred rode to Brighton with Tony and Lynn. They were joined that evening by Joel and Mary Boatright with Bridget Hollingsworth of Fairfield.
Several members of the Brighton United Church celebrated Alice Dickinson?s birthday with her on July 21. Alice resides at the McCreedy Home in Washington.
The Krony Krew Bridge Club met on July 22 at the home of Shirley Schooley. Guests were Elaine Watson of Richland and Carolyn Christner of Wayland. Winners were Carolyn Christner, Shirley Schooley and Ginny Brinton. Dorothy Miller will host the Aug. 12 meeting at her home.
The birthday party held on July 18 for Betty W. Wyse Farrier at Brighton United Church was a huge success, thanks to all her family and friends who attended. The many guests enjoyed cake and ice cream and visiting with Betty. She also received a lot of cards and phone calls from people who were unable to attend.
