Bridget Hollingsworth of Fairfield grilled the evening meal at the home of her grandmother, Winifred Fritz, on March 22. Included in providing the rest of the meal were Bridget?s mother, Mary and Joel Boatright of Fairfield, and Winifred?s son Tony of Brighton.
Winifred Fritz received word of the death of John Arndt, cousin of her late husband, Bob. He lived in Austin, Texas, but was formerly of Fairfield.

Bridget Hollingsworth of Fairfield grilled the evening meal at the home of her grandmother, Winifred Fritz, on March 22. Included in providing the rest of the meal were Bridget?s mother, Mary and Joel Boatright of Fairfield, and Winifred?s son Tony of Brighton.
Winifred Fritz received word of the death of John Arndt, cousin of her late husband, Bob. He lived in Austin, Texas, but was formerly of Fairfield.
The Brighton Lions Club served approximately 100 people at their fish fry on March 21. Twelve Lions Club members and six volunteers served 80 pounds of fish. They also received special donations. All proceeds will be used for their community projects, and they expressed thanks for all their support.
The Krony Krew Bridge Club met on March 25 at the home of Kathryn Dickinson. Elaine Watson was a guest. Two tables were in play. Winners were Ginny Brinton, Kathryn Dickinson and Liz Gegner. Their next meeting will be on April 8 at the home of Phyllis Scheeler.
