Joel and Mary Boatright with Bridget Hollingsworth of Fairfield provided taco salad on April 26 at the home of her mother Winifred Fritz of Brighton.
Winifred received phone calls from several relatives. Those calling included grandson Isaac Berry of Springfield, Mo.; son Charles Fritz of Sigourney, granddaughter Megan Berry of Odessa, Mo., and brother Herb Moeller of Weaver.
Farmers market will be held on Friday nights in Brighton. They began May 1, and will continue through the summer. It will be held at the parking lot of Dollar General in Brighton, from 4-6 p.m.

Winifred Fritz is enjoying an extended visit from her daughter and grandson.
Rita Berry of Bates City, Mo., with son Isaac and Hallie Berry of Springfield, Mo., arrived the evening of May 3. They held a backyard picnic that evening. They were joined by Winifred's children, Tony and Lynn Fritz of Brighton, and Mary and Joel Boatright of Fairfield. Also present were Mary's children J.D. and Hallie Hollingsworth with Noah of Packwood, and Bridget Hollingsworth of Fairfield.
Lucy Dietzman with Malcolm and Brenden of Keosauqua visited her mother Winifred Fritz, Rita, Isaac and Hallie Berry on May 5.
