Providing the evening meal of Jan. 10 at the home of Winifred Fritz were her children, Mary and Joel Boatright of Fairfield, Tony and Lynn Fritz of Brighton, and Mary?s children, Bridget Hollingsworth of Fairfield and J.D. Hollingsworth of Packwood.
Winifred Fritz received word of the passing of Walt Kulpa of Newton. He was married to Winifred?s cousin Carol Moeller.
Pat Remington met her daughter, Angela Garmoe of Mount Pleasant, at Tasos Pizza Steakhouse in Mount Pleasant on Jan. 11. They celebrated Angela?s birthday.
Gerald and Rosemary Pacha of Brighton celebrated a belated Christmas in Wichita, Kansas, with their son Jeff and Michelle and family. They enjoyed seeing their grandsons in wrestling meets and basketball games. They returned home in time to celebrate the 4th birthday of their granddaughter, Aurora Phillips, at Blank Park Zoo in Des Moines on Jan. 9.
St. Joseph and Cabrini Altar and Rosary met for its January meeting on Jan. 12 at St. Joseph Hall.
Deb Greiner gave the treasurer?s report. Deb Adrian read the minutes from the previous meeting. The monthly committees were assigned for the year. Confirmation will be held in April. A discussion was held on programs, and was followed by a luncheon.
The annual soup supper will be held the evening of March 6 at Cabrini Hall.
The group?s next meeting will be at St. Joseph Hall on Feb. 9.
