The Krony Krew Club met July 10 at the home of Sarah Robison. Shirley Jones, of Washington, was a guest. Bridge was played at one table. Their next meeting will be held July 24 at the home of Kathryn Dickinson.
Caryl Smith was visited by her grandson David of Orrington, Maine, July 6-8.
Winifred Fritz enjoyed the company of her children on July 7. Those present included Rita Berry, of Bates City, Mo.; Mary Boatright of Fairfield; and Tony and Lynn Fritz, of Brighton. Also present were Mary's children, Bridget Hollingsworth, of Fairfield; and J.D. and Becky Hollingsworth with Noah, of Packwood.
Tony and Lynn Fritz had an early anniversary celebration on July 9. It was held at the home of his mother, Winifred Fritz. They were joined by Tony's siblings, Joe and Lori Fritz with Michael, Sophia and Julia, of Brighton; Rita Berry, of Missouri; and Mary Boatright with Bridget Hollingsworth, of Fairfield. They enjoyed a cookout, homemade ice cream, and a cake baked by Rita.
The Pacha family reunion was held on Sunday, July 7, at St. Joseph Church Hall in East Pleasant Plain. The 10 families, extended families and relatives of Albert and Theresa Pacha were in attendance. The day was filled with visiting, laughter, and pictures. Later in the day some of the family gathered at the Pachas' century farm, the Gerald and Rosemary Pacha farm/pond, to fish and visit some more. They had fun catching crappie, bluegills, bass and catfish. It was quite the enjoyable day and evening for all.
Jeff Pacha and son Ryan, of Wichita, Kansas, and Jennifer Phillips and Aurora and Ames, of Johnston, spent the Fourth of July weekend with their mother/grandmother and attended the Pacha reunion.
Aurora Phillips, of Johnston, spent the week with her grandmother, Rosemary Pacha, as she put it at 'grandma camp.” They practiced making cinnamon rolls, and made chocolate cupcakes with strawberry cream frosting from her Disney 'Frozen” book. She picked out fabric with unicorns on it to make a pillowcase. The best part of that was making pretty stitches with Grandma's sewing machine. They had time to feed and play with the kittens and feed and train the dog. When she went fishing with her cousins on the family pond, she caught her first fish, a crappie. According to her, it was a beautiful fish, but she released it back into the pond to be with its friends. All in all, it was a busy and fun week.
