Nelson Smith and his mother, Caryl, took a trip to Iowa City on June 28.
Ed and Darlene Owen, Danica Brown, and Gail and Abby Kinzler went to Albuquerque, New Mexico, to surprise Karla Owen for her 50th birthday June 5. Others attending were her brother, Jason Owen, and friend Rachael and son Devon of Blue Springs, Missouri; and sisters, Heather and family of Los Alamos, New Mexico, and Dawn and Cary Brown of Brighton. It was a big surprise.
The annual Pauly reunion was held June 26 at the home of Winifred Fritz. Forty-six family members attended from Brighton, Des Moines, Fairfield, Farmington, Fort Madison, Keosauqua, Mount Pleasant, Packwood, Renwick, Sigourney, and Wever in Iowa, and from Bloomington, Illinois. The day was spent visiting, dining, and taking photographs.
Pat Remington met her sister Kathy of Chariton in Ottumwa on June 25. They enjoyed dining, shopping and the carnival.
On June 26, Pat was visited by her grandson Cody and fiancée McKenzie of Oskaloosa. They went to Mount Pleasant to visit his mother, Angela and Tony Garmoe, Jimmy and Christopher. Pat, Cody, McKenzie, Jimmy and Christopher went to Burlington. They enjoyed dining and shopping. After taking Jimmy and Christopher home, Pat, Cody and McKenzie spent the evening in Brighton.
