Bridget Hollingsworth, of Fairfield, visited her grandma, Winifred Fritz, on Sept. 16. They were joined by Winifred's son Tony and Lynn. They all enjoyed the evening meal and visiting.
Caryl Smith will be honored at the last congregate meal. It will be held Sept. 27 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Church in East Pleasant Plain. Call 319-694-2242 for reservations. For anyone 86 and over, the meal is free.
Chapter AQ, P.E.O. met Sept. 18 at the home of Joyce Wilson in Washington. Twelve members were present. The program was 'Founders' Day.” Their next meeting will be held Oct. 2 at the home of Arlene Fritz.
