Nolan and Kelli Symmonds of Kalona are the proud parents of a son, Grayson Robert Symmonds. He arrived at 9:44 a.m. on Dec. 5, 2016. Grayson weighed 9 pounds, 9 ¼ ounces, and measured 21 inches in length.
He was welcomed home by his 2-year-old brother, Cameron.

Nolan and Kelli Symmonds of Kalona are the proud parents of a son, Grayson Robert Symmonds. He arrived at 9:44 a.m. on Dec. 5, 2016. Grayson weighed 9 pounds, 9 ¼ ounces, and measured 21 inches in length.

Craig and Sarah Sides of Lenexa, Kansas, are the proud parents of a son, Rhett Kauffman Sides. He was born at 12:11 a.m. on Dec. 1, in Kansas City. He weighed 8 pounds, 1 ounce.
He has two older brothers, Brantley and Holden, to welcome him home.
Local grandparents are Greg and Deb Fritz of Fairfield. Local great-grandparents are Ron and Barb Rominger of Fairfield, and Winifred Fritz of Brighton.
Pat Remington met her sister Kathy of Chariton, with friend, in Ottumwa on Dec. 5. They enjoyed dining at Sirloin Stockade.
On the evening of Dec. 3, Winifred Fritz was visited by her daughter Jane and Virgil Symmonds of Fairfield with their daughter, Rachael Germany with Coraline and Oliver of Nevada, Iowa. They provided pizza for the evening meal.
James Arndt of St. George, Utah, called his cousin-in-law, Winifred Fritz, on Dec. 1.
Michael Fritz visited his grandmother, Winifred Fritz, on Dec. 4. He surprised her with his homemade cinnamon rolls.
Enjoying the evening meal of Dec. 4 at the home of Winifred Fritz were her children, Mary and Joel Boatright of Fairfield, and Tony and Lynn Fritz. Also present were Mary?s children, J.D. and Becky Hollingsworth of Packwood, and Bridget Hollingsworth of Fairfield.
Chapter AQ, P.E.O., met Dec. 6. It was a social meeting at the home of Cindy Guy. Twelve members attended the Christmas dinner and gift exchange. They will vacation until February.
