FAIRFIELD — What happens when you mix Broadway with audience suggestions and lightning-fast improv? You get Broadway’s Next Hit Musical, the award-winning comedy show where every song, scene, and story is made up on the spot. The hit production comes to Fairfield Arts & Convention Center on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at 7:30 p.m.
Direct from New York, Broadway’s Next Hit Musical is the only unscripted theatrical awards show where the audience writes the songs and the cast turns them into showstopping musical numbers — live, in real time. In the first act, audience members shout out made-up song titles, which the cast transforms into fully improvised musical numbers. The audience votes for their favorite, and in the second act, the winning number becomes a complete improvised musical, complete with memorable characters, plot twists, and showstopping finales.
Hailed as “Hilarious!” by The New York Times, the show is part comedy, part musical theatre magic, and entirely unpredictable. “This show is a perfect mix of laughter and musical talent,” said Lindsay Bauer, Executive Director of Fairfield Arts & Convention Center. “No two performances are ever the same, and the audience gets to decide the show!”
Tickets are available now at fairfieldacc.com or by calling the Box Office at (641) 472-ARTS. Don’t miss this outrageously fun night of improv, music, and audience-fueled creativity live on stage!
