Buchs to celebrate 60th wedding anniversary
Joanne and Keith Buch of rural Fairfield will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with an upcoming open house.
Mr. and Mrs. Buch were married April 7, 1951, at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Mount Pleasant. The Rev. J.T. Manning officiated the Nuptial Mass accompanied by the Revs. DeCoursey and Edgert.

Joanne and Keith Buch of rural Fairfield will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with an upcoming open house.
Mr. and Mrs. Buch were married April 7, 1951, at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Mount Pleasant. The Rev. J.T. Manning officiated the Nuptial Mass accompanied by the Revs. DeCoursey and Edgert.
The couple has eight children: Steve, Greg, Ken, Janet, Phyllis, Mike, John and Terry. Son Greg died of cancer in 1970. All reside in Fairfield except Janet, who lives in Bettendorf.
Mr. Buch remains actively involved in farming with his sons. Following her retirement from Parkview Care Center, Mrs. Buch continues to do reflexology.
Their children are hosting the anniversary celebration, which is scheduled from 1-3 p.m. April 17 at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds Activities Building.
Friends and relatives are invited to join with them and share memories, but the couple requests no gifts.
