Cabin open house at Oakland Mills

There will be an open house of the two newly constructed cabins at Oakland Mills County Park on Sunday, June 16, 2019, from noon- 3 p.m.

The Henry County Conservation Board and staff will be on hand to answer any questions about the construction process and rental procedure of these new facilities. These cabins will be available to rent online effective Monday, June 17, at noon at www.mycountyparks.com, Henry County, Facilities. George and Imogene Nuding were residents of Henry County. Upon their death, the Henry County Conservation Department was named a beneficiary of their estate. These proceeds were used to construct both cabins and were named 'George” and 'Imogene” in their honor.
