Camp Courageous
While attending Camp Courageous in Monticello last week, Washington Elementary School student RJ Hawkins and fellow Fairfield students were on hand as Lifeguard Air Ambulance from St. Luke?s Hospital in Cedar Rapids landed at the camp. While attending Camp Courageous in Monticello last week, Washington Elementary School student RJ Hawkins and fellow Fairfield students were on hand as Lifeguard Air Ambulance from St. Luke?s Hospital in Cedar Rapids landed at the camp. RJ, a helicopter enthusiast, got to sit in the pilot?s seat alongside his teacher, Jen Christensen, with the help of pilot Skip Barthle. All the students got to see the helicopter up close with the help of its crew.
