Cancer prevention project presentation planned
The Iowa Cancer Prevention Project: What We Learned About Cancer in Iowa, and the next steps in cancer prevention is a presentation open to the public 7:30-8:30 p.m. July 17 at Fairfield Public Library in the conference room.
Tina Devery, executive director of the Iowa Cancer Consortium, and Raul Calderon Jr. of Fairfield will share what was learned through a three-year cancer prevention project in Iowa.

The Iowa Cancer Prevention Project: What We Learned About Cancer in Iowa, and the next steps in cancer prevention is a presentation open to the public 7:30-8:30 p.m. July 17 at Fairfield Public Library in the conference room.
Tina Devery, executive director of the Iowa Cancer Consortium, and Raul Calderon Jr. of Fairfield will share what was learned through a three-year cancer prevention project in Iowa.
A review of the project highlights will be presented, ideas for future research projects, practical tips on how to reduce the risk for cancer and resources available from the Iowa Cancer Consortium will be shared.
A raffle for radon testing kits and gasoline cards will be held at the end of the presentation.
