Car show helps animal shelter

The 21st annual PAWS & More Central Park Car Show has been rescheduled for Sunday, Sept. 15 on the town square in Washington.

The show was rained out on its original date of Aug. 18.

The show is run by Corn County Cruisers, with the profit benefitting PAWS & More Animal Shelter in Washington.

PAWS & More is a 501(c)(3) non-profit. Our mission to shelter and care for homeless animals in Washington County, IA.

Registration for the car show is from 8-11 a.m.

An entry fee is charged.

Awards will be presented at 3 p.m.

Awards include participant's choice top 35, best of show, best restoration, and PAWS' Pick Awards.

Lunch, served by PAWS & More, will be available from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
