Cardinal offering free summer lunches

ELDON ? Cardinal Community School District will be offering free lunches this summer.

Lunches will be served Mondays through Fridays beginning Monday through June 26 and then July 6-24.

The lunches will be served from 11-11:20 a.m. at Agency Park; 11:45 a.m.-12:05 p.m. at Batavia Park; and 12:20-12:40 p.m. at Eldon Park.

All children and teens, ages 1-18, can eat the free lunch. No registration or identification is required.

The menu will repeat every two weeks, although it is subject to change:

Monday ? turkey sub, cucumbers, orange, milk.

Tuesday ? chicken wrap, baby carrots, apple, milk.

Wednesday ? ham and cheese sub, cool ranch chips, orange, milk.

Thursday ? comet wrap, celery with sunbutter, applesauce, milk.

Friday ? turkey sub, cucumbers, orange, milk.

Monday ? ham and cheese sub, cool ranch chips, orange, milk.

Tuesday ? chicken wrap, baby carrots, apple, milk.

Wednesday ? turkey sub, cucumbers, orange, milk.
