ELDON ? The Cardinal softball team dropped a 6-3 game to 14th-ranked (Class 2A) Highland Wednesday in Eldon.
Cardinal?s Lindsay Moore went 3-for-4 from the plate, and Delaney Ridgway was 2-for-3. Ridgway took the loss from the pitcher?s circle, going all seven innings and giving up 12 hits and five earned runs.
