CDA Court McDermott #504 met Wednesday evening for their regular meeting with 21 members and two new members Darlene Payne and Connie Goodwin.

Regent, Janice Carr introduced John Hays with Pure Water, and he showed videos as well as spoke to the group about his calling from Jesus to give Pure Water to the world. His latest calling was to provide water to the victims of Nepal as well as other places in the country. He was most informative and everyone enjoyed his presentation.

Regent Carr opened the meeting with the Pledge to the flag and prayers. State convention reports were given to the group. It was noted a bus sponsored by CDA is going to the Family Conference to be held in Philadelphia with a visit from Pope Francis in September. Also literature of the Trappist Caskets was passed around. Marcella Reed noted that the Convention was themed with the Blessed Virgin, Mother of Jesus. Cards were sent to Anne Goble and Helen Neff's family.

Chris Peiffer passed out the new booklets for the coming year and noted that this is the 95th year of CDA in Washington. A celebration will be held in September and 50-plus year members will be honored.

Regent Carr installed new members Connie Goodwin, Rocky Roberts and Darlene Payne, after which refreshments were served by the committee of Cathy Buffington, Mary Capper, Mary June Adam and Isabelle Flander. They also reported on bingo at the McCreedy home which was well attended. Next month's committee will be Janis Vittetoe, Jean Bates, Anne Goble, and Marcella Reed.
