Celebrate nature and get outdoors this New Year’s Eve

Ring in 2022 at the Louisa County Conservation’s Noon Year’s Eve celebration at Chinkapin Bluffs Recreation Area on Thursday, Dec. 30 from 10 a.m. to noon.

“Outdoor adventures, nature activities, and crafts will be available before we gather together for a countdown to a Noon birdseed toss to ring in the New Year,” said a news release from Louisa County Conservation.

The celebration will finish with hot chocolate and a snack around a campfire. This Noon Year’s Eve celebration will be fun for the entire family and is designed for a come-and-go audience. Feel free to stay the entire time or come just in time for the countdown.

The cost is $2/child. There is no cost for adults or children under 2. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
