Celebrate Recovery meets

Twenty-six people from Brighton, Fairfield, Wayland, Washington and Olds, including three newcomers, met at the Brighton Community Church June 18. The evening included praise & worship music, optional individual sharing and a testimonial by Johnny and Jen, a couple whose marriage was affected by alcoholism, co-dependency and conflict avoidance.

The group also enjoyed food provided by volunteers and childcare was provided for six children. The possibility of group registration for those planning to attend group viewing at Brighton Community Church of the national Online Celebrate Recovery Summit July 30 and 31 was also discussed.

The next weekly Celebrate Recovery meeting, open to anyone with any hurt, habit, or hangup, will be Thursday, June 25 at the Brighton Community Church at 6 PM.
