Celebrate Recovery meets in Brighton

Nearly 30 people, from Brighton, Wayland, Fairfield, and Washington met for Celebrate Recovery Brighton at the Brighton Community Church Feb. 25. The evening included praise and worship music, and a lesson reinforcing that the road to recovery is not meant to be traveled alone, but best involves three relationships: most importantly, a relationship with Jesus Christ; the relationship of your recovery group or a church family; and lastly, the relationship of a sponsor and/or accountability partner (a mentor or coach to walk alongside in the journey of recovery).

There was also an opportunity for gender-specific optional individual sharing and childcare was provided for one child.

The next weekly Celebrate Recovery meeting will be held on Thursday, March 4 at the Brighton Community Church beginning at 6 p.m.
