Celebrate Recovery meets in Brighton

Nearly forty people - from Brighton, Fairfield, Wayland, Olds, Pleasant Plain and Washington, including one newcomer, met for Celebrate Recovery Brighton at the Brighton Community Church on Jan. 28. The evening included live praise and worship music, and a lesson on the steps one goes through to turn one's life over to Jesus Christ.

There was also an opportunity for gender-specific optional individual sharing including two women's sharing groups, one for those struggling with chemical dependencies, and one for all other hurts, habits or hangups. In addition, six children participated in the Celebration Place ministry at the Brighton Church of God Gym.

The next weekly Celebrate Recovery meeting will be held on Thursday, Feb. 4 at the Brighton Community Church beginning at 6 p.m.
