Celebrate Recovery meets in Brighton

Twenty people from Brighton, Fairfield, Wayland and Washington, met for Celebrate Recovery Brighton at the Brighton Community Church Dec. 31. The evening included live praise and worship music, and a lesson on the importance of recognizing that God can do for us what we have never been able to do for ourselves (the change of healing of our hurts, habits and hangups).

There was also an opportunity for gender-specific optional individual sharing and five children participated in the Celebration Place ministry. In addition, childcare for one youngster was provided.

The evening began with a shared meal. Contributions for the next meal can be made by contacting Sharon at smwagner123@gmail.com.

The next weekly Celebrate Recovery meeting will be held on Thursday, Jan. 7 at the Brighton Community Church beginning at 6 p.m.
