Celebrate Reovery holds Praise and Pizza Party

Around thirty people came together for an outdoor ‘Welcome Back to CR in Brighton Praise and Pizza Party' Thursday, June 4 at the Brighton Community Church. Memorial money in honor of John Tweeton was gifted to the group for this purpose.

The local CR Brighton band led in worship music, volleyball was played, and special recognition was given to participants with eight months and thirteen months of progress in overcoming hurts, habits or hangups. A five-year sobriety coin was also awarded. The CR Brighton ‘forever family' enjoyed being together.

Everyone was again reminded that the national Online Celebrate Recovery Summit will be held this summer July 30 and 31. CR Brighton is planning a central location for viewing and participation and people can go to celebraterecovery.com to register.

The next regular weekly Celebrate Recovery support, open to anyone with any hurt, habit, or hangup, will be Thursday, June 11 at the Brighton Community Church at 6 PM. Men will meet upstairs and women will meet downstairs.
