Celebration Recovery

Around 30 people from Brighton, Wayland, Olds, Washington and Fairfield, attended a Celebrate Recovery meeting Jan. 30 at the Brighton Church of God. The evening included dinner featuring food donated by the Brighton Lions following their recent soup supper, praise and worship music, optional small group sharing, and a lesson and skit on how you turn your life over to the one and only Higher Power, Jesus Christ.

Also conducted was the companion program for children ages 5-13 called Celebration Place. Four children attended Celebration Place.

The next weekly Celebrate Recovery/Celebration Place meeting, open to anyone with any hurt, habit, or hangup will be Thursday, Feb. 6, at the Brighton Church of God. It will begin at 6 p.m. with a free meal. Free child care is available for children under 5.
