Celebration Recovery

Around 30 people from Brighton, Wayland, Washington and Fairfield (including one newcomer), attended a Celebrate Recovery meeting Dec. 5 at the Brighton Church of God.

The evening included dinner, praise and worship music, optional small group sharing and large group prayer. Three service award coins to the kitchen crew and three milestone chips to participants for four and seven months of sobriety were awarded.

Also conducted was the companion program for children ages 5-13 called Celebration Place. Four children attended Celebration Place.

The next weekly Celebrate Recovery/Celebration Place meeting, open to anyone with any hurt, habit, or hangup and their children ages 5-13, will be Thursday, Dec. 12, at the Brighton Church of God beginning at 6 p.m., with a free meal. Free childcare is available for children under 5.
