CELEBRATIONS: Kingsbury celebrating 50th wedding anniversary

Gary and Juanita Kingsbury will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday, Aug. 17.
An open house is being held in their honor from 4-6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 24, in the fellowship hall of Keosauqua United Methodist Church in Keosauqua. Everyone is welcome. No gifts are requested.
Gary Kingsbury and Juanita Morris were married Aug. 17, 1969, at the United Methodist Church in Keosauqua. They both graduated from Van Buren High School in Keosauqua and have remained in the Keosauqua area since their marriage. He is retired from The Dexter Company in Fairfield, and she is retired, but still working part time at First Iowa State Bank in Keosauqua. They enjoy visiting their children and grandchildren, traveling south in the winter and staying involved in many community activities.
The Kingsburys have three children, Matt and Heather Kingsbury, Brian and Ann Kingsbury and Ellen and Roger Lahr. They also have five grandchildren.
