CENTRAL COLLEGE

Nick Rohner, worship/ministry team coordinator, accepted the challenge as leader and brought along 10 Central students to assist him.
The group hosted soup kitchens, distributed meals and sorted supplies for hospitals. In addition, the group worked with Project Hospitality, which feeds the hungry, shelters the homeless and cares for people with HIV/AIDS.

MOUNT VERNON ? Cornell College in Mount Vernon named 254 students, including two from Fairfield, to the Dean?s List for the fall semester.
Tyler VanderGaast and Thomas Weiss, both of Fairfield, earned Honors.
A grade point average of at least 3.6 on a 4.0 scale is required for this designation. ?Highest honors? are granted to students with 4.0 averages; ?high honors? are awarded to students with 3.8 to 3.99 averages; and ?honors? include grade point averages of 3.6 to 3.79.

OSKALOOSA ? Several area students have been named to the William Penn University President?s List for the fall 2012 semester.

TRUMAN STATE UNIVERSITY
KIRKSVILLE, Mo. ? Tori Jo Ogden was named to the Truman State University Fall 2012 Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs List.
To qualify for the list, an undergraduate student must attain a semester 3.50-3.99 grade point average and must complete 12 semester hours of credit.
Ogden is majoring in athletic training.

ATLANTA, Ga. ? Madhava Martin of Fairfield was named to the Dean?s List of Emory College, the undergraduate, liberal arts college of Emory University in Atlanta,
Ga., for the 2012 fall semester.
Students must be in the top 20 percent of Emory College or have approximately a 3.85 grade point average or higher to be named to the Dean?s List.
